In “Contrast” my painting through a mixture of pictorial means as colour and visual symbols, expresses the anguishes of the war, lived through mass-media, which makes us passive and powerless witnesses of atrocities.
But when I proceed upon the visual signals I deprive them of their communicative aggressiveness, so the pictorial space becomes icon of beauty, hoping in such way to reach a public accustomed, from mass-media, at beatifull images, but less attentive to a critic reading of the meanings of such images
